Even the most innovative device may not reveal its full benefits if it is too complicated to use. For this reason, Surdial-X technologies are designed to be easy for the user to operate: they are facilitated by an intuitive user interface, a clear, highly sensitive 15” touchscreen display with full text prompts.

In accordance with our ergonomic criteria, users can rely on the device-assisted positioning of the pump segments. All commands have an easy to find button with controls grouped in logical zones according to the typical workflow. This allows the user to quickly and safely walk through the preparation of the procedure and, when necessary, a help screen will guide the user and his decisions. Afterwards, during the procedure, the "dashboard" screen mode allows the user and the patient to quickly get an overview of information on the status of the procedure.

Setting up the "ideal" dialysis procedure is facilitated by the use of a "patient card" and/or a LAN connection. Each patient will have a unique card with preset procedure settings: the card is designed to set procedure parameters quickly and safely. Surdial-X can also be connected to a local network, which will send patient data directly to the clinic server.

Surdial-X is designed to provide active and passive patient safety. During the procedure, the software of the device closely monitors all parameters and promptly warns with visual and audible signals when deviations are detected. Various clamps and attachment points lock the line in place and allow the user to quickly check that the line is installed correctly and troubleshoot problems.

Surdial-X is equipped with a blood pressure monitoring system that provides automatic and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring: manual or automatic measurement of systolic, diastolic, mean pressure and pulse, as well as individual control in relation to UV, blood flow and dialysate. The new Clean Start (CTS) feature uses the UV pump to remove all of the initial solution without getting it to the patient during the connection phase and without the use of additional bags.
